About El Prado Women’s Golf Club

The El Prado Women’s Golf Club of Chino, CA was formed in 1976 to promote interest in women’s amateur golf, to hold tournaments among its members, and to establish a uniform system of handicapping. We alternate play between El Prado’s two challenging 18-hole golf courses, Chino Creek and Butterfield Stage.

The El Prado Women’s Golf Club follows USGA rules and regulations, with our handicap services provided by The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA). Our club is also a member of the Women’s Public Links Golf Association of California (WPLGASC). The WPLGASC holds tournaments on the second Thursday of each month, where WPLGA members have an opportunity to select and play at different local golf courses, as well as major tournaments throughout the year.

Our Club meets on Thursdays to compete in a weekly tournament, closest-to-pin, putting contest, which are optional. We also have a 50/50 drawing on each playday. There are several tournaments throughout the year, such as:

• Club Champion

• President’s Cup

• Turkey Shoot

• Christmas Tournament & Luncheon

Winter Tee times start at 8:30 am, October thru June
Summer Tee times start at 8:00 am, July through September

Annual Dues is $44/year

SCGA: $41 (Required)

WPLGASC Membership: $20 (Optional)
